Driving from the Brisbane via Caboolture?
- Travel on the motorway/Bruce Highway turning off at Kilcoy off ramp
- Follow the signs to Kilcoy & Kingaroy
- When you reach Kilcoy take the turn-off to Kingaroy (D'Aguilar Highway)
- Stay on this road and Blackbutt is approximately 45 minutes from Kilcoy

Driving from Brisbane via Ipswich Road?
- Take the Toowoomba turn-off onto the Warrego Highway
- Take the Esk Turn-off onto the Brisbane Valley Highway passing Fernvale, Esk, Toogoolawah and Harlin.
- Turn left at the end of Brisbane Valley (towards Moore & Yarraman)
- This is the D'Aguilar Highway and Blackbutt is approximately 20 minutes away
BEWARE!!!!!
We strongly suggest you keep a check of your Speedo especially travelling through Moore, as it is a known RADAR ZONE
The Blackbutt Ranges assent is winding but only approximately 5-6 kilometres. As you ascend the ranges you will immediately smell the pine and feel the crisp clean atmosphere. Be mindful of the road and other drivers while on the range.
